Jesus said, “I am the true vine...Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.  I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing..." 

John 15.1-5

Throughout His teachings Jesus instructs us to 'remain' or ‘abide’ in Him, and by doing so live fruitful lives.  Jesus tells us to 'abide' in Him 10 times in this passage.  Staying connected to Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is the only way we can live lives of eternal significance both individually and as a church. Our name, THE VINE reminds us that it is all about Jesus.
